Born in 1986 in Lucerne, Switzerland, I picked up the guitar at 18 and instantly knew this was it. What followed was a long journey of practice, discovery, and relentless learning. My first guitar idol was—and still is—Jimi Hendrix.

Between the ages of 18 and 24, I played in various local bands, exploring genres from metal to country, searching for my musical identity. At 20, I started teaching my first students, and by 22, I was giving lessons at music schools while beginning my formal studies.

Eluveitie & Life on the Road

In 2012, I was asked to join Eluveitie right after the recording of Helvetios. That September, I embarked on my first-ever tour, supporting Sabaton—the beginning of an intense and unforgettable journey. Since then, I’ve spent over 13 years (and counting) touring the world, bringing our music to fans across the globe.

With Eluveitie, I’ve recorded multiple albums, each marking a milestone in my career:

Tvinna – A New Musical Chapter

In 2018, I joined Tvinna, a band that explores a unique blend of atmospheric, dark, and cinematic music. I contributed guitars and bass recordings to their debut album One – In the Dark, bringing my own sonic textures into their world.

In 2024, Tvinna released their second album, which I recorded, co-produced, and mixed, further deepening my role in shaping the band’s evolving sound.

Fall of Mankind – A New Beginning

2025 marks the start of a new journey. I launched Fall of Mankind, my first fully self-written and produced project, alongside the incredible drummer Alain Ackermann. This is the project I’ve been preparing for over 20 years—the culmination of everything I’ve learned and experienced as a musician.

Building a Studio & Expanding Horizons

In 2018, I built my first studio and began producing and recording bands. The COVID pandemic in 2020 brought challenges, but also profound personal change—it was the year my first child was born. A time of deep reflection and new beginnings.

In 2023, I started planning Blacksmith Studio’s, my own creative space dedicated to music production. By 2024, the studio structure was complete, and by the end of the year, I recorded the first sessions there.

2024 was a year of milestones—my second child was born, completing my family.
